This post made me think about someone who did something very horrible to me and my understanding of it. Im still thinking …more later.

I’m sorry to hear this . I know that reading on this topic has brought up this kind of thing for me too. I hope that if it is haunting you can find closure and heal and maybe share your story with others. I’ll be writing soon on how I healed from this stuff as that is also not talked about much.

Of course i always enjoy reading what you have to say, we seem to have similar stories , events and interesting topics. I dont write, but im more of an oral storytelling type person..im southern of course, its what we do.

I connect with your storytelling on many levels, we have many things in common. Both good and bad.

Thank you for sharing these things that are so hidden in so many households. I am reminded of what my Dad said to me when I brought my sexual abuse to him thinking he was my night in shining armor who would make it all right. He said WE DONT TALK ABOUT THOSE THINGS IN THIS FAMILY and I decided then and there to get out of that house 🏠

Thank you for reading and sharing your experience. I know that is exactly what happened to my mom and my husband's brother when he told his dad. It seems like now people are just starting to talk about these things.
